Udokan Copper to Support Construction of International Student Campus in Zabaikalye
Agreements on the construction of an interuniversity campus in Zabaikalsky Krai were signed on 12 February 2025 at Russia’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The head of the region, Alexander Osipov, signed the agreements with several industrial partners – Udokan Copper, Norilsk Nickel, Mangazeya, Mosstroytrans Corporation and Highland Gold – with the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Andrey Omelchuk, in attendance. Total funding for 2026–2028 will amount to RUB 3.2 billion.

Udokan Copper Recognised as Best Employer in Russia’s Far East
Udokan Copper was named the winner in the “Best Employer” category of the Star of the Far East competition. The award ceremony took place on 7 February 2025 at the Russian Government House in Moscow. The Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yury Trutnev, presented the award to the Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors.

New branch of Trans-Baikal Mining College Began its Work in the North of the Transbaikal Region
With the support of Udokan Copper, a new branch of Trans-Baikal Mining College named after M.I. Agoshkov began its work on 2 September 2024 in the CuprUM educational centre at Novaya Chara School No. 2
